About Assoc Prof Audrey Chia​

Assoc. Prof. Audrey Chia, MBBS (Hons), FRANZCO, PhD (NUS),is a Senior Consultant at the Singapore National Eye Centre(SNEC) and Head of the Paediatric Ophthalmology & AdultStrabismus Department. A graduate of the University of Sydney,she completed her fellowship at Great Ormond Street Hospital,London, and holds a PhD from NUS. She also serves as AssociateProfessor with the SingHealth-Duke-NUS Academic ClinicalProgramme. Her research focuses on myopia, amblyopia,strabismus, and retinopathy of prematurity, and she co-heads theMyopia Research Unit at SERI. Widely recognized for hercontributions, she is a recipient of the President’s Science &Technology Award (2019).​
