About Dr. Ajay Midde

Dr. Ajay Kumar Midde is the Head of the Department Neuro-Rehabilitation at KIMS Hospitals (Hyderabad). He completed his Bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy from NTR University of Health Sciences and was a topper in his class. He then earned his MPT (Master of Physiotherapy) from Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), again graduating at the top of his batch. He holds international credentials: licensed physiotherapist status from the Oman Medical Specialty Board (Oman) and from the New York State Education Department (USA).  He also trained in vestibular rehabilitation in California (USA) and received advanced rehabilitation training for head-injury management from a rehabilitation institute in Detroit (USA). ​

At KIMS Hospitals, Dr. Midde specializes in neuro-rehabilitation services, including rehabilitation for bladder and bowel dysfunction, vestibular disorders, gait disabilities, head injury and spinal cord injury recovery, and stroke rehabilitation. He has also served as assistant professor at the KIMS College of Physiotherapy. In research contributions, he has co-authored papers including one titled “Normative values for cervical lordosis: a cross-sectional study” and has presented in national and international conferences on neuro-developmental techniques, stroke rehabilitation, and cerebral palsy rehabilitation.​
