About Dr. Ashish Atreja

Dr. Ashish Atreja, known as "The App Doctor," is a physician-executive, entrepreneur, and leader in AI-powered healthcaretransformation. He is the founder of VALID.AI, a collaborativenetwork of over 50 health systems and technology partners focusedon advancing generative AI in healthcare through shared validationand governance. Dr. Atreja previously served as the ChiefInformation and Digital Health Officer at UC Davis Health, where heled initiatives like the Digital CoLab and partnered with AWS tolaunch the first Cloud Innovation Center by an academic medicalcenter. He has also held leadership roles at Mount Sinai HealthSystem and Cleveland Clinic, where he pioneered digitaltherapeutics and co-founded Rx.Health, a digital health spinout.
