About Dr. Harish Pillai

Dr. Harish Pillai is the Chief Executive Officer of Metro PacificHealth (MPH), the largest private healthcare network in thePhilippines, overseeing 22 hospitals, 26 outpatient centers, 6 cancercare centers, and 2 allied health colleges. With over 26 years ofexperience in healthcare management across India, the UAE, Egypt,and the Philippines, he has previously held leadership roles at AsterDM Healthcare and As Salam International Hospital. Dr. Pillai hasserved on the JCI Standards Advisory Panel and the PrivateSector Advisory Council for Healthcare under the Philippinegovernment. Holding an MBBS, a Master’s in HospitalManagement, and an MBA in International Healthcare, he is also avisiting faculty member at premier institutions including IIM Bangalore,IIM Kozhikode, ISB, TISS, and ASCI. Under his leadership, MPH hasprioritized clinical quality, patient safety, operational excellence,and expansion, aiming to set a benchmark for healthcare delivery inthe Philippines.​
