About Dr. Shravan Subramanyam

Dr. Shravan Subramanyam is the Managing Director and Group CEO of BPL Medical Technologies, and also leads the MedTech platform at Claypond Capital. A physician by training from Madras Medical College and holding a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Cornell University, he brings over two decades of leadership experience across medical devices, diagnostics, and healthcare strategy.

Before joining BPL, Dr. Subramanyam held senior roles at Roche, Novartis, and Wipro-GE Healthcare, where he led business transformation and innovation initiatives across India and South Asia.

As President of NATHEALTH and co-chair of the MedTech committees at FICCI and CII, he has played a key role in shaping India’s healthcare policy landscape.

At BPL, he has guided the company’s transformation into a comprehensive MedTech enterprise, with strong verticals in cardiology, critical care, imaging, and home care—driving the “Make in India” vision through indigenous innovation and manufacturing. A passionate advocate of digital transformation in healthcare, he focuses on integrating AI, R&D collaboration, and sustainable domestic ecosystems to advance accessible, technology-driven medical care in India.
