Ms. Jagruthi Kurra, Deputy Chief Nursing Officer – Academics and Critical Care Units at Continental Hospitals, Hyderabad, is a dynamic nursing leader with over 19 years of comprehensive experience spanning clinical practice, administration, and academic leadership. She has an impressive track record in driving major healthcare accreditations, including JCI, NABH, NABH (NANE), C-Green OT, APSIC CSSD, and QAI (PSFH), and has played a pivotal role in advancing nursing education and certification programs. Ms. Jagruthi was instrumental in establishing the IGNOU center at Continental Hospitals, introducing two key nursing certification programs—Diploma in Critical Care Nursing (DCCN) and Diploma in Nursing Administration (DNA). She has served as Programme Coordinator and has twice won the national Gold Medal for the Hyderabad region. She holds a Master’s degree in Medical-Surgical Nursing (Critical Care), along with advanced qualifications in Nursing Education and Management from NHCA and the NABH Pre-Entry Level Assessor course. A multi-faceted professional, she has contributed in roles such as IDCCN Course Coordinator, Organ Transplant Counsellor, and Assistant on Duty (AOD), and has guided and published several small-scale studies in Indian journals. Ms. Jagruthi received the prestigious Florence Nightingale Award in 2015 from TNGO, Hyderabad, and has been recognized for excellence in research with multiple best paper awards at national and international forums.
