About Ms. Juliet Joji Varghese​

Ms. Juliet Varghese is an acclaimed healthcare leader currently serving as Director –Nursing at Apollo Chennai Main Hospital, the flagship hospital of the Apollo Groupand ranked No. 1 in the country.​

She brings over 28 years of rich experience in leading Nursing Services at renownedinstitutions, including Jupiter Hospital, Thane and NH-SRCC, Mumbai. A consistentacademic topper, she completed her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Nursing from L.T. College,SNDT University.​

Ms. Juliet has partnered extensively with nursing teams on multiple research projectsand has a strong passion for critical care nursing. She currently heads the Critical CareCouncil at the Apollo Group and serves as a core member of several key committees.​

She is deeply committed to patient safety, leading several turnkey projects focused onprocess improvement and enhanced patient care outcomes. A passionate andtransformational leader, she has guided nurses through significant changemanagement initiatives, fostering professional growth and excellence.​

In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Ms. Juliet was conferred the NursingExcellence Award by The Economic Times in 2025 and is also a three-time recipient ofthe Apollo Nursing Excellence Award.​
