About Prof. Dr. Bikash Medhi

Prof. Dr. Bikash Medhi is currently a Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh.  He earned his MBBS from Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh in 1992 and an MD in Pharmacology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi in 1997. 

With deep expertise spanning experimental pharmacology, molecular pharmacology, clinical trials, autism and epilepsy research, Prof. Medhi has led several high-impact projects and serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Indian Journal of Pharmacology. His contributions include building dedicated research laboratories in neurosciences and pharmacovigilance at PGIMER, making him a respected academic leader and scientist in Indian pharmacology and therapeutics.
