About Prof. Hannah Rajsekhar

Prof. Hannah Rajsekhar serves as the Principal (Academic) at Apollo College of Physiotherapy (ACP), Hyderabad, under the umbrella of Apollo Hospitals Educational & Research Foundation (AHERF). She holds a Master’s in Physiotherapy (Orthopaedics) along with an MA in Public Policy & Management (PPM), reflecting her blend of clinical expertise and academic leadership. With over a decade of teaching, research and administrative experience, Prof. Rajsekhar has contributed to advancing physiotherapy education through her role at ACP and with several peer-reviewed studies—such as comparative research on lumbar stabilization versus extension exercises in patients with non-specific low back pain. Her academic interests span physiotherapy interventions across life phases, including antenatal-postnatal care and manual therapy for orthopedic/neuromuscular conditions. At the institutional level, she is known for fostering an environment of rigorous scholarship, interdisciplinary workshop engagements (e.g., in ageing and brain-health) and active mentoring of students and young faculty. Through her leadership at ACP, she continues to steer the programme toward integrated professional training—equipping graduates not only with hands-on clinical skills but also with research awareness and service-oriented outlook suitable for today’s healthcare environment.
