Dr. B.K. Rana, CEO, Quality & Accreditation Institute (QAI), India, a true luminary in the realm of healthcare quality, standardization, accreditation and patient safety.

Prior to his role at QAI, Dr. Rana served as the Director & CEO of NABH, Quality Council of India, where his visionary leadership transformed the healthcare quality framework in the country.

Internationally recognized for his expertise, Dr. Rana's contributions to the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua) have been nothing short of extraordinary. From his role as Expert and Surveyor, and tenure as Vice-Chairman to Chairman of the Accreditation Council, and later as a Director on the ISQua Board, and Member on the Board of Directors of International Society for Telemedicine and eHealth (ISfTeH).

To add to his credit, currently, he is Vice Chair of the MRA Council of the Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (APAC) and Founding & Executive Committee Member of the International Academy of Quality & Safety (IAQS).

Dr. Rana's involvement with the World Health Organization (WHO), The World Bank, Asian Development Bank and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) underscores his commitment to global health and environmental sustainability

His publications in international peer-reviewed journals and appointment as the Adjunct Professor, Mandakh University, Mongolia is a testament of his research & academic distinction.
