About Dr. Kaushik Banerjea

Dr. Kaushik Banerjea is an experienced healthcare executive and Emergency Medicine physician with extensive expertise in medical administration, clinical governance, healthcare quality, patient safety, rural healthcare, medical workforce development and healthcare education.

He currently serves as Executive Director – Medical Services at East Grampians Health Service, Victoria, Australia, where he provides strategic medical leadership across clinical governance, medical workforce planning, credentialing and scope of practice, quality improvement and medical education.

With a strong background spanning both clinical practice and healthcare leadership, Dr. Banerjea has held senior medical leadership positions in Australian healthcare organisations and has contributed to the development of innovative approaches to rural medical education, workforce sustainability and healthcare service delivery.

He is also associated with Deakin University, contributing to healthcare education and leadership development.
