About Capt Madhukari Ray​

Capt. Madhukari Ray is presently the Director of Nursing for the Eastern Region at ApolloMultispecialty Hospitals. She brings with her extensive leadership experience acrossreputed national and international healthcare organizations, having previously served asDirector Nursing Services at Evercare Hospital, Dhaka, Bangladesh, and having held keyroles in several leading corporate hospitals, including CK Birla Hospitals and ArtemisHealth Institute, where she was actively involved during the commissioning phase ofaward-winning start-up hospitals. A qualified RN with an MSN (G&O), she also holds anExecutive MBA in Business Administration and is a certified Simulation Instructor (Level 1),Six Sigma Green Belt, and Lean Healthcare professional. Ms. Ray has been widelyrecognized for her contributions to nursing excellence, receiving the Nursing ExcellenceAward from AHPI in 2016, and has served as National Vice President of the Indian NursingServices (INS), Founding Body Member and East Zonal President of ANEI, and Convener ofthe Infection Control Nursing Council at Apollo Group. A committed academic andresearcher, she has published multiple papers in reputed international journals, includingstudies on deep vein thrombosis education, antimicrobial stewardship, and needle stickinjury prevention across hospitals in India. Her professional interests center on quality-centric initiatives, and she is a certified auditor for Quality Accreditation of India andINFUZE audits of INS India.​
