Dr. Bikash Medhi is a distinguished Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. He earned his MBBS from Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh, in 1992, followed by an MD in Pharmacology from AIIMS New Delhi in 1997. Dr. Medhi has contributed to over 640 publications, amassing more than 7,800 citations. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Indian Journal of Pharmacology and coordinates the Pharmacovigilance and MateriovigilanceCentre at PGIMER. His accolades include the Dr. VK Bhargava Award from the National Academy of Medical Sciences for his research on Alzheimer's disease.
