Dr. Clive Fernandes

Dr. Clive Fernandes is a highly accomplished healthcare professional with over 20 years of experience in clinical care, administration, and quality improvement. For the past 11.5 years, he has been associated with the Wockhardt Group of Hospitals, where he serves as the Group Clinical Director, overseeing clinical excellence, academics, research, and quality initiatives across the group. Since March 2023, Dr. Fernandes has also taken on the role of Chief Operating Officer - Group, driving operational excellence and strategic growth across all Wockhardt hospitals.​

Dr. Fernandes is a globally recognized consultant, having worked with Joint Commission International (JCI), Chicago, for over 17 years. He has provided consultation services to healthcare organizations across America, Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, and has served as faculty for JCI’s International Practicums in cities such as Abu Dhabi, Seoul, Dubai, and Miami. He also teaches in JCI’s Healthcare Quality Management & Patient Safety Program.​
