About Dr. Govindaiah Yatheesh

Dr. Govindaiah Yatheesh is the Medical and Unit Head of ApolloHospitals, Jayanagar with an overall experience of 20+ years. Hestarted his career as an Emergency Physician who completed HospitalManagement Program in IIM-B. He was the Medical Superintendent ofApollo Hospitals, Bangalore and he served as the Regional MedicalDirector and Quality Head. He has led the successful completion of 4JCI and 8 NABH audits. He has effectively executed Clinical Governanceacross Karnataka Region and also facilitated standardization across theApollo Group. He is also the Quality and Patient safety champion for allthe group initiatives on Apollo Clinical Excellence and JCI/ NABHaccreditation including Apollo Way and emerged as an effective leaderin advocating patient safety and safety culture in the organization.​

As an effective Business Head responsible for the Unit leadership.​

​He has been awarded Emerging Young leader award by GlobalAssociation of Physicians of Indian origin. He is associated with ISQUA,SEMI, IIEMS and Member secretary of Independent Ethics Committeeat Apollo Hospitals, Bangalore. ​
