Dr. Rajesh Bendre

Dr. Rajesh V. Bendre is a seasoned pathologist with over 25 years of technical expertise in clinical chemistry, hematopathology, and molecular biology. As the National Technical Head and Chief Pathologist at Apollo Diagnostics Pvt Ltd., Hyderabad, he has led diagnostic advancements across standalone, hospital-based, and national reference labs. With over a decade of academic experience, he has trained MBBS and MD/DNB (Pathology) students and contributed to international research with five publications and multiple conference presentations.

An accomplished NABL and CAP assessor, Dr. Bendre is certified as per ISO 15189:2012 & 15189:2022. His special interests include autoimmunity, flow cytometry, and advanced hormonal and drug assays using HPLC and LCMS technologies. Trained in laboratory and blood bank management at IIM Kolkata and IIM Indore, he has also played a key role in developing and implementing Laboratory Information Systems (LIMS) to enhance efficiency and quality in diagnostic services.
