About Dr. Ratnamani

Dr. Ratnamani is a senior microbiologist with over 22 years of experience in laboratory services and infection prevention. She holds an MD, PGID, AMPH (ISB), and is board-certified in Infection Control (CIC), with specialized training in Medical Mycology from PGI Chandigarh in collaboration with WHO. She currently serves as HOD – Microbiology, Director of Lab Services, Head of Infection Control Program, and Head of CSSD at Apollo Hospitals, Telangana region. Dr. Ratnamani has actively contributed to JCI and NABH accreditations and is Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified. She is a member of the AMSP and the Antibiotic Core Committee of the institute, with strong involvement in research initiatives. She has authored a chapter on “Surgical Site Infections (SSI)” in Qualitinomics and has several national and international publications to her credit.
