Dr. Sangeeta Pathak is a distinguished expert in Transfusion Medicine with 28 years of experience in the field. She has played a pivotal role in advancing blood transfusion services in India and has held key positions, including Ex-Secretary of the Asian Association of Transfusion Medicine (AATM-India) and Member of the Governing Body, National Blood Transfusion Council (NBTC). She has also contributed as a former member of the Transfusion Resource Group of NBTC.
A certified professional in Patient Blood Management, Research & Publication (British Medical Journal), and Hospital Management (ISB Hyderabad), Dr. Pathak has made significant contributions to research and academia with 21 publications, six book chapters, and four editorials. She is also the co-author of the book "Essentials of Blood Banking & Transfusion Medicine". As an organizing secretary, she has successfully led three national and international conferences & CMEs and has delivered over 200 presentations at prestigious national and international forums. Dr. Pathak was instrumental in pioneering Convalescent Plasma Therapy for COVID-19 treatment in India and is a Certified NABH Assessor for Blood Banks.
