Sravan Kumar is a senior Healthcare Executive with over 17 years of experience in hospitals, ambulatory care clinics, diagnostic centers and healthcare IT. An alumnus of IIM Lucknow, Sravan is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and holds multiple prestigious certifications, including Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and Healthcare Accreditation Certified Professional (HACP). His expertise encompasses quality management, accreditation processes, performance improvement, patient and environmental safety, HR management, and process reengineering.
Throughout his career, Sravan has successfully led numerous cost-efficiency, revenue generation, and quality improvement initiatives across various hospital departments. He has played a pivotal role in 22 Joint Commission International (JCI) final surveys and has guided over 70 organizations in achieving international and national healthcare accreditations, including CAP, ISO 15189, NABH, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001.
He is awarded as the “Healthcare Icon of the year” in 2023 by His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak, minister of tolerance of the United Arab Emirates and Distinguished Achievers in Healthcare Award in 2016 by Mr. Humaid Al Qutami, Director General, Dubai Health Authority. Sravan is a trained Business Excellence assessor (EFQM Excellence Model). He served as the team leader assessor for Dubai Quality Award, Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award ad UAE innovation award since 2012. He led the EFQM excellence projects at his workplace and successfully achieved “Dubai Quality Award (DQA) Gold”, the only private hospital in the UAE to achieve this highest honor in DQA.
