Ms. Josephine Cyrill is a highly accomplished Nursing professional with extensive leadership experience, having served as the Nursing Director at both Continental Hospitals, Hyderabad, and Artemis Hospitals, Gurgaon. She holds a General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) qualification from Holy Family Hospital, New Delhi, a Post Certificate B.Sc. in Nursing from AIIMS, New Delhi, and an MBA in Hospital Management. Additionally, she is certified in Six Sigma (Green Belt) and ISO 270001.
Ms. Cyrill has received recognition for Excellence in Service at Dhahran General Hospital, Saudi Arabia.
She has played a pivotal role in advancing nursing documentation through a mobile app initiative at Artemis Hospitals, Gurgaon, and has successfully organized numerous national and international conferences. She has also contributed significantly to infection control education as the Course Director for the SGRH National Infection Control Certification Program.
Her contributions to research include membership in GRIPMER (Ganga Ram Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research), where she reviews abstracts of nursing and paramedical research studies. She co-authored a chapter on “Infection Prevention Measures in Emergency Department” in the second edition of the Textbook of Emergency Medicine – Including Intensive Care and Trauma, published by Jaypee Brothers Medical Publishers in 2022.
As a Principal Assessor for NABH since 2018 and an INFUZE standards auditor, Ms. Cyrill has led nursing teams in achieving NABH, JCI accreditation, and Nursing Excellence certifications at Artemis Health Institute, Gurgaon, Continental Hospitals, Hyderabad, and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. She is also an executive member of ANEI.
Her areas of expertise include Nursing administration, quality management, clinical teaching, supervision, and the commissioning of new hospitals. With her extensive experience and commitment to excellence, she continues to shape the future of Nursing leadership and healthcare quality.
