Ms. Manisha Rattan is a seasoned Nursing management professional with over 17 years of experience in leading and overseeing a team of 200+ nursing professionals in a dynamic healthcare environment. She specializes in driving excellence in patient care, ensuring adherence to the highest clinical standards, and optimizing operational efficiency. With a proven track record in managing complex nursing functions within multispecialty hospitals, she has been instrumental in enhancing patient safety, staff development, and resource optimization.
Academically, she holds a Postgraduate degree (MBA) in Healthcare Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSc. Nursing). She is also a Trainer on Leadership in Infection Prevention and Control for Nursing Professionals at the Health and Family Welfare Department, in collaboration with Johns Hopkins University.
Her expertise and dedication to patient safety have been recognized through numerous awards. In 2024, she won the Paper Presentation Award at the International Patient Experience and Patient Conference. In 2023, she received the Paper Presentation Award at the International Patient Safety Conference for her project on Reduction in Blood Culture Contamination Rate, along with another award for her work on Conquering Pain: Strengthening the Pain Management Program in a tertiary care hospital in New Delhi. She was honored with the Asian Patient Safety Award 2014 for her project on reducing restricted antibiotic consumption and the Patient Safety Conference Award in 2016 for implementing an IT-based application for real-time tracking of hospital-associated infection rates.
Additionally, she received the CAHOCON Award for her project Chasing Zero VAP (Ventilator-Associated Pneumonia).
