Ms. Maria Lazaro

Ms. Maria Lazaro brings over 30 years of extensive expertise in Nursing, having held several prestigious leadership roles throughout her career.

She served as the Head of the Nursing Department at Amrita Institute of Medical Science and Research in Kochi, where she played a pivotal role in establishing the School of Nursing as its Principal.

She later founded Miranda College in Bangalore and served as its Principal before gaining valuable international experience through a decade of work in the United States.

Upon returning to Amrita Hospital in Kochi, she took on the role of Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).

She was also instrumental in the development of Amrita Hospital, Faridabad, starting from the project phase with the transition team and continuing as the Nursing Director.

Maria Lazaro is a distinguished graduate of the renowned Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, and later earned her Master’s degree from SNDT University in Mumbai.
