About Ms. Susan Mathew

Ms. Susan M. Mathew is an accomplished nursing leader with over twodecades of progressive experience across clinical care, nursing education,and hospital administration, currently serving as Chief Nursing Officer atApollo Proton Cancer Centre, Chennai. Her career spans senior leadershiproles at Continental Hospitals, Medanta Hospital, Chandan Hospital, andinternational clinical experience at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital,Oman, as well as Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi. She holds a BScin Nursing and an MBA in Healthcare Management, and has been widelyrecognised for exemplary leadership in oncology nursing, operationalexcellence, quality assurance, workforce planning, and crisis management,including during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ms. Mathew has led andcontributed to multiple research studies in maternal health, adolescentanaemia, and HIV care, and is trained in advanced life support, infectioncontrol, IV therapy, pain management, and nursing education.
