Prof. (Dr.) Raminder Kalra is a distinguished Nursing professional with extensive experience as a senior faculty member at RAK College of Nursing. She has held key positions, including SNA Advisor for the Delhi State Branch of TNAI and an editorial committee member for the Nursing Journal of India.
Dr. Kalra holds a Ph.D. in Nursing from IGNOU and an M.Sc. in Psychiatric Nursing from the University of Delhi, along with a certificate course in Health Education from CHEB. She is a master trainer for HIV/AIDS, elderly care, and palliative care, as well as a certified diabetic educator.
Her accolades include the prestigious President’s Gold Medal for Excellence in Nursing and the RULA Ratna Research Award 2019 for outstanding research in community psychiatric nursing.
She has contributed significantly to research, publishing papers in national and international journals, and authoring chapters on psychiatric nursing and substance use disorder treatment, including works published by WHO and IGNOU.
Dr. Kalra also serves as the Vice President of the ANEI Delhi Chapter and is the Chairperson of the Local Complaint Committee for the South East District of Delhi, actively contributing to nursing education and healthcare advancements.
