Dr Devi Shetty is a renowned cardiac surgeon, entrepreneur, and humanitarian who founded Narayana Health, one of the largest and most innovative healthcare providers in India. He has performed over 100,000 heart surgeries, many of them on children and newborns, and has pioneered several techniques and technologies in the field of cardiac surgery.
He has also introduced the concept of micro health insurance, which allows people to pay a small premium per month and have access to over 800 surgical procedures when needed.
He has received many awards and honors, including the Padma Shri and the Padma Bhushan, two of the highest civilian honors in India.
