Peter Lachman, MD, MPH, FRCPCH, is Chief Executive Officer of the International Society for Quality in Healthcare. Previously, he was Deputy Medical Director for Patient Safety, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children National Health Service Trust, where he was engaged in clinical commitments in neuro-disability and long-term conditions at the Royal Free Hospital. Dr. Lachman's interests are in transforming health care organizations to become safer and more effective.
