Col. (Dr) Ravi Shankar, an MBBS, MD (Hospital Administration) from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, is currently associated with Apollo Hospitals, Navi Mumbai in the capacity of Medical Director.

Dr Ravi Shankar has over 31 years of work experience in multiple Army Hospitals Establishments & Defence Ministry as Hospital Administrator & President Medical Board.

During his career span, Dr Ravi Shankar has successfully steered new projects & clinical operations including launching of multiple new clinical programs. He has been instrumental in setting up protocols and governing multiple committees. He has proficiency in medical procurements and quality management.

Dr Ravi Shankar joined Apollo Hospital, Navi Mumbai in November 2021. He has been instrumental in multiple clinician engagements and on-boarding. Due to his constant efforts Apollo Hospital, Navi Mumbai won the “Apollo Clinical Excellence Award” this year. He has held multiple clinical leadership roles in ensuring clinical practises that give an advantage for a strong clinical engagement.
