Dr. Anna George

Dr Anna George-is currently the Head Quality for Aster India. In this role, she has oversight of the Quality and Clinical Excellence program for 16 units across the country under Aster DM healthcare, India.  Earlier she was the Vice President, Quality at Rajagiri Hospital, Kochi which is a 550 bedded JCI & NABH accredited multi-specialty tertiary care hospital. She along with her team has enabled Rajagiri Hospital to achieve JCI and NABH accreditation in a short span of 1.5 years from its commissioning in 2015. It’s been over a decade since Dr Anna is involved in Healthcare Quality and prior to joining Rajagiri hospital she had worked with Medical Trust Hospital and Lakeshore hospital in Kochi taking these hospitals through NABH accreditation, surveillance and re accreditation. She was also deputed from Rajagiri hospital to Mauritius to head a management consultancy project with Clinique Mauricienne executing turn around leadership and change management as the COO.

Dr Anna has done her Bachelors in Dental Surgery from MAHE, Manipal, MHM (Osmania, Hyderabad), PGDMLE from National Law School India University (NLSIU) and Six Sigma Green Belt certification (Exemplar Global), certification in Strategic Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur. She is also a Certified Professional for Quality Implementation in Hospitals (CPQIH, CAHO), faculty and Secretary, CQE wing of CAHO (Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organizations) and a trained auditor for JCI and NABH. Dr Anna is currently pursuing her PhD in Healthcare Management from TISS, Mumbai.
