
Dr.Anuradha Pichumani is Associate Faculty at Ariadne Labs, Harvard T H Chan School of Public Health; an elected member of the Executive Board of ASQua and Chair of the Education Committee, ASQua; is an ISQua Expert and Tutor; represents India on the ISO Technical Committee 304 – Healthcare Organization Management Standards; is a member of the Person and Family Centred Advisory Council (PFCAC) and Educational Advisory Committee, ISQua and, has established a partnership with Ariadne Labs, USA on the implementation of the WHO Safe Childbirth Checklist. She is also an NABH Assessor, Chair, Quality Professionals Wing, CAHO,4 an Obstetrician, Gynaecologist & Infertility Specialist and Executive Director of Sree Renga Hospital, Chengalpattu, Tamilnadu, India.
A consistent and active contributor to national and international conferences on the topics of Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Infertility and Healthcare Quality, Dr.Anuradha Pichumani has in recent times been awarded the national Innovation Award for her design of the ultraviolet-light-based decontamination of N95 masks in 2020, the Best State Representative Award from CAHO in 2019, the Outstanding Woman Professional Award by the FICCI Ladies Organisation, Chennai in 2017 and the Dr.C.S.Dawn Prize at the All India Congress of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2015. Her work on Experience-Based Co-Design (EBCD) was among the three entries from South East Asia selected to present at the First ISQua Quality Competition at the ISQua International Conference, Cape Town, South Africa, in 2019. Dr.Anuradha Pichumani is Guest Faculty at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi. Her recent research publications include a Field Report on the implementation of the WHO Safe Childbirth Checklist, co-authored with researchers at Harvard T.H.Chan School of Public Health, USA and a book chapter on Patient Experience.
Dr.Anuradha Pichumani is also a Director on the board of Narbhavi Multispeciality Hospitals, Kancheepuram, Tamilnadu, India.
