Dr. Govindaiah Yatheesh

Dr. Govindaiah Yatheesh is Vice president and Unit Head at Apollo Hospitals, Jayanagar, since the last 4 years. He is also designated as President of PHANA With an overall experience of 20+ years in hospital, ambulatory care clinics, healthcare IT and consultancy projects, he has led the successful completion of 4 JCI and 8 NABH audits. He has also effectively executed clinical governance and has championed special cost efficiency. He has also headed the Apollo Air Rescue Team (Air Ambulance) from 2006-2011 and the Emergency services as an emergency physician till 2007. He has also been awarded Emerging Young Leader Award by Global Association of Physicians of Indian Origin. He is also associated with the International Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQua), Society of Emergency Medicine India (SEMI), Indian Institute of Emergency Medical Services (IIEMS), Member secretary of Independent Ethics Committee at Apollo Hospitals Bangalore and the President Elect of Private Hospital and Nursing Associations, Karnataka.
