Dr. Rohini Sridhar trained as a Pathologist from AIIMS, New Delhi and subsequently completed her Fellowship in Haematology from Melbourne, Australia.
During her long career at Apollo Hospitals, she helped set up the Bone Marrow Transplant Services at Apollo Cancer Hospital, Chennai.
Following her move to Madurai, she has spearheaded the clinical protocols and processes at Apollo Hospital, Madurai making it the first Hospital in the Apollo Group to complete NABH accreditation.
Her relentless focus on Clinical Quality took ASH, Madurai to several National awards including the IMC Bajaj Award and the Rajiv Gandhi National Quality Award.
After taking over business responsibilities for the hospitals, she was instrumental in the growth of the region from a single 100 bedded hospital at Madurai to 5 hospitals with a capacity of over 800 beds across 4 cities.
She has currently moved back to Chennai as Sr. VP – Medical Services, Hospitals Division, Apollo Hospitals Group leading the clinical quality and clinical governance initiative for the Group.
Dr. Rohini has participated actively in CII and served as Chairman, CII- Madurai Zone in 2015-16.
