Dr. Sahana Govindaiah

Dr. Sahana Govindaiah is the Joint Director of Medical Services at Apollo Hospitals, Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore, a 370 bedded Tertiary care Multi Specialty Hospital having Centers of Excellence in Cardiac sciences, Neurosciences and Transplantation of solid organs. She graduated from Bangalore University, and later did her postgraduate diploma in Hospital administration, an executive program on Leadership and Management from IIM Indore. She has over 13 years of experience in Hospital Administration, Quality and Accreditation process and believes that clinical excellence, a culture of safety and patient satisfaction go hand in hand. She also believes that in the present scenario when healthcare is out of a pandemic, it is absolutely essential that health care organizations train and retain experienced man power and that is the sure shot way to a safer and empowered patient care.
