Dr. Sandhya Mujumdar is M.D. in Paediatrics and has M.Sc. in Healthcare Management from UK.
She is currently working as Senior Specialist, Quality Improvement and Patient Safety with the National Healthcare Group (NHG) in Singapore and as Physician Consultant for the Joint Commission International (JCI).
She formerly worked as the Deputy Director, Medical Affairs Department (Clinical Governance); and Senior Specialist, Quality & Accreditation; at the National University Hospital (NUH) in Singapore from the year 2000 to 2020. She was a part-time lecturer in Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Singapore for 6 years and continues to work as a Core Tutor for Inter-Professional Education in quality and safety for undergraduate students.
She had helped to develop quality and safety framework in NUH, where she was overall in-charge of quality and safety, licensing and JCI accreditation. She has presented posters, given oral presentations and won many awards for professional excellence and quality and safety improvement projects at national/international levels and published articles in journals.
