Dr. Shishta Nadda Basu

Dr. Shishta  Nadda  Basu holds a position of Senior Director  &  Head​ Department of Obstetrics  &  Gynaecology ​ Max Super Specialty Hospital , Shalimar Bagh, Delhi​.

She is  M.B.B.S (Gold Medalist), M.S., F.I.C.M.C.H.,  MRCOG (UK) & F.R.C.O.G.(UK)​​.

She is a member of governing board in National Board of Examinations, New Delhi​. She is a national convenor in committee of “Development of Curriculum of Professional Development & Communication in Healthcare”, NBE​. She is also a National Representative to the  International Association for Communication in Healthcare, UK and a Founder President – Society for Communication in Healthcare, India.

She is founder member of Indian Fertility Society​, society for communication in healthcare, India, founder of first MRCOG training courses in India (1992)​. She is also a member of Specialist Board, National Board of Examinations, Delhi​; health sector skill council, academic committee​; central academic council, Max Healthcare,  India​ & institutional scientific committee, Max Hospital Shalimar Bagh, Delhi​.

She is an executive member of NARCHI ( National Association of Reproductive & Child Health , India)​​

She has received prestigious certificate for excellence  by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare(MHOFW), GOI, for path breaking reforms in the field of medical education.​ She has received distinguished Teachers Award by  ANBAI, 2022​; Hamilton Bailey Prize & Gold Medal, in  Birmingham (UK);  International  Woman of the Year 1996  by  Biographical Society, Cambridge, UK​. She is also National webinar coordinator for Obstetrics & Gynaecology, National Board of Examinations , New Delhi.
