Dr. Upasana Arora
Dr. Upasana Arora is a dynamic leader in the Indian healthcare industry. She has inspired Yashoda Hospitals since 2000. The First Indian working, in India to be awarded the prestigious Fellowship of ISQua (International Society for Quality and accreditation.) She is a fellow of Quality Leadership Program - Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA and also holds an International Fellowship on Health Technology Assessment (HTA), Anglia Ruskin University, U.K. She has been continuously working for excellence in healthcare and has earned an Honorary Doctorate in Hospital Administration by National American University.
She holds numerous positions besides being the Managing Director of Yashoda Super Speciality Hospital, Kaushambi which includes being the Regional President of the North India Council, Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, Chairperson of Indo-US Chamber of Commerce Healthcare Division, ASSOCHAM Empowerment Council, Special Olympics Delhi Chapter. She is the Co-chairperson ASSOCHAM Healthcare Council, Healthcare Committee (North Region), Indian Chamber of Commerce, CII Northern Regional Committee on Healthcare, FICCI Medical Tourism Committee and Member- NABL Board, Emirates International Accreditation Centre (EIAC), NABH Accreditation Committee, Ethical Committee AHPI, FICCI Health Service Committee and also advisor to Religare Care Foundation.
She has been recognized in 2022 as one of the member of eminent G20 Healthcare Working Group besides being acknowledged as “Outstanding Woman in Medicine & Healthcare” by FICCI FLO “Exceptional Women of Excellence” by Women Economic Forum, “Women Leadership Award in Healthcare besides being acknowledged with “Global Excellence Award” and Business Icon Award.
Her continued contribution to industry is evident as she has been conferred with numerous awards “Uttar Pradesh Innovation Leadership Awards - 2021”,“Lifetime Achievement In Healthcare Award” presented by “World Leadership Awards” 2021, Business Women of the Year 2018 & Women Achievers Award 2019 by ASSOCHAM. She was also awarded the Capital Foundation National Award 2019, UP FICCI FLO Women’s Award in the Category of Healthcare and “Uttar Pradesh Ratan” Award 2017 for her outstanding contribution to Health Care besides much other recognition on the National & International level.
