Dr. Yashpal Sharma

He is well known in the field of Hospital Administration and has more than three decades of varied experience behind him. He was conferred with Masters Degree in Hospital Administration (MHA) from A.I.I.M.S, New Delhi and also awarded with W.H.O fellowship in Health Economics at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. He is Accredited Management Teacher (AMT) of All India Management Association, Delhi and also a NABH Assessor. He has been visiting faculty for training of Medical Superintendents and senior Medical Officers to many institutions like Indian Institute of Coal Management, Ranchi, Administrative Training Institute, Nainital, etc.

He is Life Member of many institutions including Academy of Hospital Administration, Indian Hospital Administration, Indian Society of Hospital Waste Management & AIIMSONIANS, Life member of Youth Hostels Association of India, New Delhi and Fellow of International Medical Science Academy.

He has written many Books & Manuals including Handbook on Hospital Administration – Making a difference 2003 and a book on Hospital Administration: Principles and Practice -2013. Have many research publications in the field of Health & Hospital Administration to his credit. He has been instrumental in developing infrastructure for COVID management and procurement of machinery /equipments, logistics medicines etc. during the COVID pandemic in J&K.
