Eric Woo is the Regional Director of ECRI, Asia Pacific office. He is responsible for the development and operational management of ECRI in this region. He has over 26 years of experience in healthcare industry having learnt and built various business for medical device organizations in Asia Pacific, managing private hospital, and research involvement in Stem Cells for regenerative medicine. In his experience with medical device organizations, he was involved in development of new surgical techniques with innovative devices, surgical trainings such as cadaveric workshop, organization development and management in Asia Pacific. Before joining ECRI, Mr. Woo was the Chief Operating Officer of a private hospital for sports injuries and stem cell technology. He was also engaged in Malaysia as part of the panel representative from private healthcare system for innovation research and development. He is also a frequently invited speaker in a wide range of medical device, patient safety and healthcare-related topics for health conferences in Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, China, Dubai, Vietnam and Republic of Korea. Mr. Wooisalsoa certified trainer and has completed the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, TAE40110, a recognized teaching and assessment credential in the National Standards for Registered Training Organizations, Australia. He is also certified trainer with the Malaysian HRDF (Human Resource Development Fund) Train the Trainer Program and a certified Healthcare Risk Manager by ASQua/CAHO.
Mr. Woo is often in the frontline of ECRI APAC’s work particularly in developing solution concepts, methodologies, framework, and implementation programmes. This is well reflected from the successfully completed projects ECRI APAC has with partners and clients.Education and Professional Memberships.
