As an administrator he managed the entire operations and administration function of the hospital. Joy was actively involved in the developing and teaching programs related to healthcare management field in SRMC.
He is passionate about “Quality Care” and has taken up many projects as well as initiatives that have been exemplary achievements in the same. For the same he has been awarded “Patient Experience Professional of the Year” by Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and CRM Academy of Asia in 2019. He has been a recipient of Rashtriya Sanman Award by National Education & Human Resource Development Organization.
He has closely worked with and on projects of central government, state government including government bodies like Niti Aayog for HealthCare domain. He has been an expert member who contributed National Education Policy.
As an ardent professional for “Quality Care”, he has ensured that the same has given to the society even by the Bengal Club of Shivaji Park, Mumbai for which has been the past president and now serves as mentor to this oldest and most prestigious club. His activities are not just restricted to quality in healthcare but also outside health care. Educate the girl child, food for the poor and needy are a few campaigns that the club runs currently under Joy’s mentorship.
