
Bindu Nambisan is a Consultant, currently serving as the Head of Service Excellence at Rajagiri Hospital. She believes that Service Excellence is the next competitive battleground in Healthcare, galvanizing the entire transformation of Healthcare from being physician-centric to patient-centric. Her contribution to healthcare is to create value at every patient touchpoint with a focus on process adherence by pulling together and collaborating with diverse teams ensuring that the patient is at the core of all decision making. She leads the design and implementation of Patient Experience and Service Culture through Digitalization and Process Re-engineering, driving accountability, encouraging teams to adopt higher service standards. She is certified in Healthcare Management & Leadership from the Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Her Capstone Project on Service Experience in Healthcare was graded as Top Three and has been included in the Harvard Reference Library. She is also a Six Sigma Green Belt and a certified Instructional Designer. Having worked with organizations like Wipro Ltd. and The Oberoi Group of Hotels, she has a varied domain experience in industries such as Hospitality, Healthcare, IT and Telecom. She finds herself at home almost anywhere in the world and for now, she calls Kochi, in Kerala, her home, where she lives with her husband and son.
